delete

The baremetal delete command deletes an existing bare metal server from your project. This command allows you to remove a specific bare metal instance by specifying its project ID and server name.

Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

  1. Ensure that you already have a valid Project ID. Refer to the Project List section to obtain your project ID.

  2. Identify the bare metal server name that you want to delete. Refer to the Baremetal List section to find the server name.

  3. Run the following command in your terminal:

cldkctl baremetal delete --project [project ID] --name [bare metal server name]
  1. Replace [project ID] with your actual project ID and [bare metal server name] with the name of the instance you want to delete.

  2. Once completed successfully, the terminal displays the success message "Bare metal instance successfully deleted".
