# Edit Skill
The Edit Skill feature allows you to update the information of an existing skill within an instance. Use this feature to modify the skill details, such as the name, description, visibility, or tags, without creating a new skill.
On the **Skill** page, click the **Edit** icon for the skill that you want to modify.
The system displays the **Edit Skill** form.
Modify the required fields, such as **Name**, **Description**, **Visibility**, and **Tags**, as needed.
In the **Tags** field, you can add one or more tags. Enter the tag name, then click **Add**.
The added tag will appear below the **Tags** field. Repeat this step to add more tags if needed.
After updating the required information, click **Save** to save the changes.
If the skill is successfully updated, the system displays the notification **"Skill has successfully updated"**.
