# Toogle Skill Status

The **Manage Skill Status** feature allows users to change the status of a skill between **Active** and **Inactive**. This feature is used to control the availability of a skill within a Deka Claw instance.

## Deactive Skill

The Deactivate Skill feature allows you to temporarily disable a skill without removing it from the instance. Use this feature when you want to prevent the skill from being used while keeping its configuration and information available.

To deactivate the skill, slide the **status toggle** to the **off** position.

If the skill is successfully disabled, the system displays the notification **"Skill has successfully disabled"**.

## Active Skill

The Active Skill feature allows you to enable a skill within an instance. Use this feature to make the skill available for agents without re-uploading or recreating the skill.

To activate the skill, slide the **status toggle** to the **on** position.

If the skill is successfully enabled, the system displays the notification **"Skill has successfully enabled"**.
