# Introduction

**Deka DNS** is a feature for managing Domain Name System (DNS) configurations within the Service Portal AI. It enables domains to be registered and managed as **zones** in DNS Management, serving as the foundation for domain configuration and traffic routing. Each zone is displayed with a status that reflects its current configuration state within the platform.
