Resize Root Disk

You can increase the root disk size when your VM instance needs additional storage space. The root disk can only be resized to increase its size; reducing the size of the root disk is not supported.

• In the Action column, click More, then select Resize Root Disk.

• Enter the desired size for the Root Disk. The root disk size cannot be smaller than 20GB. Then click Resize Root Disk to apply the changes, or click Cancel if you do not want to modify the root disk size.

• A process will begin to expand the size of the root disk.

• After the resize process is complete, the updated disk size will automatically appear in the Instance list.
