Machine Type

Deka Flexi: Compute provides various types of Virtual Machines (VMs) classified based on compute resources such as CPU, memory, and storage. Before creating a virtual machine on Deka Flexi, you should first evaluate your application requirements and workload. You can then select a VM type that best matches the available machine types. The following machine types are available in Deka Flexi:

  1. General – Provides a balanced CPU-to-memory ratio suitable for general workloads.

  2. Compute Optimized – Delivers high CPU performance and is optimized for compute-intensive workloads.

  3. Shared – Provides a cost-effective option for running small applications with lower resource requirements.

  4. Memory Optimized – Provides a higher memory-to-CPU ratio and is optimized for memory-intensive workloads.
