# Import Custom Image via URL

This guide describes how to import a custom image into Deka Flexi using a URL. Custom images are available only within your cloud project and can be used when creating an instance.

To import a custom image via URL, follow the steps below:

* Click the **Images** menu, then go to the **Custom Image** page. On the **Custom Image** page, click the **Import via URL** button.

* In the **Import an Image via URL** form, fill in the required fields.

* After all fields are completed, click the **Import** button.

* The system will begin importing the custom image. The importing process may take some time depending on the size of the image.

* If the process is successful, a notification will appear indicating that the custom image has been successfully imported, and the image status will become **Active**.
