Increase Storage

You can increase the size of your storage disk when your VM instance requires additional storage space. Storage size can only be increased and cannot be decreased. Before increasing the storage size, make sure the storage is detached from the VM.

• Open the Storage page by selecting the Storage menu.

• In the Action column, click More, then select Detach from Instance.

• Click Confirm to start the storage detachment process.

• A notification will appear displaying the message "Storage has successfully detach".

• On the Storage page, in the Action column, click More, then select Increase Size.

• Select the desired storage size. Then click Resize Volume to continue the resizing process or Cancel if you do not want to proceed.

• A notification will appear displaying the message "Storage has successfully resized".

• On the Storage page, in the Action column, click More, then select Attach to Instance.

• Select the Instance, then click Confirm to continue the process or Cancel to return to the Storage page.

• A notification will appear displaying the message "Storage has successfully attach".
