* On the **Create SLB** page, in the **Tier** section, select **Server Load Balancer**. Then fill in the **Name**, **Flavor**, and **VPC Network** fields, and click **Create**.

Flavor

There are 3 size options that can be used including:

  1. c1.medium.rc 2VCPU / 2GB RAM
  2. c1.large.rc4VCPU / 4GB RAM
  3. c1.xlarge.rc8VCPU / 8GB RAM
VPC NetworkThe VPC network must be in the same segment as the instance to be load-balancing.
* A notification stating that the Deka SLB is being created will appear, and the Status column will show **ON-PROGRESS**.
* After the Deka SLB is created successfully, a notification will appear to confirm the creation.
