# delete-openvpn

The vpn delete-openvpn command allows you to delete an existing OpenVPN configuration from your project. This command removes the OpenVPN service associated with the specified VPN instance and user credentials.

## Usage

```
cldkctl vpn delete-openvpn [flags]
```

## Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

1. Run the following command in your terminal:

```
cldkctl vpn delete-openvpn
```

2. Enter your project name in the **Project Name f**ield. Refer to **project list** to verify or obtain the correct project name.
3. Enter the VPN instance name in the **VPN Name** field. Refer to **vpn list** to confirm the VPN name before proceeding.
4. Enter the public IP address in the **IP Public** field. The IP address can also be obtained from **vpn list.**
5. Enter the username associated with the OpenVPN configuration in the **Username** field.
6. Confirm the deletion process by pressing **y** for Confirm or **n** for Cancel.

7. Once successful, the terminal displays **“✓ OpenVPN on process deleted in 20 seconds”.**
