Create IPsec

The Create IPSec feature is used to create a new IPSec configuration for the selected VPN.

On the VPN List page, click More in the Action column, then select Configuration.

On the IPSec tab, click the Create IPSec button.

The Create IPSec page appears. The following tables describe the fields required to create an IPSec configuration.

Phase 1

Column	Description
Remote VPN	Specifies the remote VPN address used for the IPSec configuration.
Pre-Shared Key	Specifies the pre-shared key used for the IPSec configuration.
Description	Specifies a description for the Phase 1 configuration.

Phase 2

Column	Description
Remote Network	Specifies the remote network for the IPSec configuration.
Network Size	Specifies the network size for the remote network.
Description	Specifies a description for the Phase 2 configuration.

Complete the Remote VPN field with the remote VPN address.

Provide the Pre-Shared Key, or click Generate Pre-Shared Key to automatically generate a pre-shared key.

The pre-shared key must be the same on both sides of the IPSec configuration.

Fill in the Description field for Phase 1.

Specify the Remote Network, then select the Network Size.

Complete the Description field for Phase 2.

After all required fields have been completed, click the Create button.

The system displays a notification indicating that the IPSec configuration is being created.

If the IPSec configuration is successfully created, the system redirects you to the IPSec Detail page, where you can view the IPSec information and manage the IPSec tunnel.
