# Overview Service Account

The Service Account module is used to manage service accounts utilized by applications or workloads within the cluster to interact with available resources. Service accounts play a role in defining identity and access permissions, ensuring that each application can access resources based on the assigned privileges.

Through this module, users can create, view, and manage service accounts, as well as configure their access permissions using Roles, ClusterRoles, and RoleBindings to ensure proper security and access control within the cluster environment.
