# Data Volume

The **Data Volume** tab is used to create and manage Data Volumes within the Kubernetes environment. Data Volumes provide a mechanism for provisioning and populating storage that can be attached to workloads, virtual machines, or other Kubernetes resources that require persistent data.

Through this tab, users can create new Data Volumes, view their current status and progress, update their configuration, and remove Data Volumes that are no longer needed.
