# Open Console

To be able to use the console on a VM in the Deka GPU Portal Service, there are two ways, namely:

1. Detail VM Page

To access the console on a VM, open the VMs menu on the Deka GPU Portal Services page, then click More and select Details.

2. VMs Module

Direct access via the More menu on the VMs page in the Deka GPU Service Portal .

You will automatically be directed to the VM Console page. Enter the username with “root”, and the password that was entered during the VM Instance creation process on the Authentication page.
