# Turn Off a VM Instance

On a VM with Running status, you can disable it by clicking the More button and select Turn Off .

The Turn Off Virtual Machine window appears, click the Yes button to continue deactivating the VM.

If you successfully deactivate the VM, there will be a notification “Virtual Machine has been successfully turned off” and the status column will be “Stopped”.
