Create a New Key

Create a New Key is a feature in the Service Portal AI that allows you to generate a new key for use. On the Keys Tab page, click the “+Create Key” button.

The Create Key window will appear. Fill in the required fields.

• Key Name: Enter the name of the user who will use the key.

• Model: Select the previously chosen model.

• Max Coins: Set the maximum number of coins allowed.

• Expired Date: This is a mandatory expiration date for the key. The key will automatically be deactivated after the specified date has passed. This feature serves as a lifecycle management mechanism for API keys to ensure usage remains controlled in accordance with company policies.

Click the Submit button to create the key.

If the Key is successfully created, a notification will appear: "Key has been successfully created" and it will appear in the List Keys section.

To obtain the Secret Key in Deka LLM through the Service Portal AI, ensure that the key has been created beforehand. Make sure to copy and store the Secret Key securely, as it will not be displayed again. Click the Copy button to copy the Secret Key if you want to save it for reference.

1. The Secret Key functions as an authentication credential that allows users to access and interact with Deka LLM services. This key is required to authorize API requests and ensure that only permitted users can use the system.

2. In the usage flow, the Secret Key must be entered into the API Key field in the Playground. Once the Secret Key is provided, users can run interactive chats, test prompts, and execute model requests securely within the Playground environment.

After copying the Secret Key, click Close to finish.
