# View Encryption Algorithm

This page is used to view the encryption algorithms applied in the IPSec connection. The information displayed includes the encryption and hash algorithms used in both Phase 1 and Phase 2. There is steps to view Encryption Algorithm:

* From the **VPN** list, click **More → Configuration** on the selected VPN. In the **IPSec** tab, go to **IPSec Tunnel**, then click **More** on the tunnel row. Select **Encryption Algorithm**.

The displayed information includes:

* **IPSec Encryption Algorithm Phase 1**

* **IPSec Encryption Algorithm Phase 2**

* **IPSec Hash Algorithm Phase 2** shows the selected hash method for Phase 2 (for example: SHA256).
* **Description** provides a short description or identifier of the configuration.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.cloudeka.ai/deka-vpn/configuration-deka-vpn-ipsec/ipsec-tunnel/view-encryption-algorithm.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
