# update

Update a specific port network in your project. This command allows you to update a port by providing its unique identifier (port ID) and the new details you want to apply.

## Usage

```
cldkctl flexi network port update [flags]
```

## Aliases

```
update, update, upt
```

## Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

#### Interactive Mode

1. Refer to the [**Flexi Network Port List** ](/guidance-for-enterprise/cloudeka-api-list/command-reference/cldkctl-flexi/network/port/list.md)section to obtain the **port ID**.
2. Run the following command in your terminal:

```
cldkctl flexi network port update [port_id] -i 
```

3. Replace **\[port\_id]** with the actual port ID.
4. The terminal displays the **Update Port** form, modify the port configuration.

5. When prompted, confirm the update by selecting **y**, or cancel the process by selecting **n**.

6. Once completed successfully, the terminal displays the success message.

#### Non-Interactive Mode

1. Provide all required values using command flags.
2. Add `--auto-confirm` or `-y` to skip confirmation prompts in non-interactive mode.
3. Run the command in your terminal.
4. Once completed successfully, the terminal displays the success message.
