Here are the steps to add to the subnet configuration used in VPC configuration: On the **Network** page under the **VPC** tab, select the VPC where you want to add a subnet by clicking the VPC name in the **Name** column.

Select the Subnets tab and click the Add Subnet key.

The Add VPC Subnet window displays, fill in the available columns. Click the Add key to add the Subnet configuration then wait until the process is complete.

Column	Desccription
Name	Name of the subnet to be listed.
IP Address	The subnet address to use.
IP Address - Size	Number of IP addresses that can be used on that subnet.

Wait until the process is complete and the **"Subnet has been successfully added".**

## Edit Subnet You can update a subnet configuration after it has been created. On the VPC Details page, select the Subnets tab. Then, click the More (⋮) button next to the subnet you want to update and select Edit.

The Edit VPC Subnet window is displayed. Fields such as **Name** and **IP Address** are read-only and cannot be modified. You can update configurable fields such as **DNS Name Servers** and **Host Routes**. Click the **+** button to add a new entry and the **–** button to remove an existing entry.

Column	Description
DNS Name Servers	To add the DNS Server configuration to use.
Host Routes	Used to define subnet routes for traffic to network segments. You can press the add icon to add Host Routes routes.

To enable DHCP functionality, select the **Enable DHCP** option, then click **Update**.

The "VPC Subnet has been successfully updated" notice means that the recently updated data has been saved successfully.

## Delete Subnet You can only remove previously added subnets through the Add Subnet button. VPCs that use multiple subnets can be viewed in the Available IP column that has more than one IP address. Here are the steps to remove subnets in the Cloudka portal service: On the **Network** page under the **VPC** tab, select the VPC where you want to add a subnet by clicking the VPC name in the **Name** column.

On the Subnets tab, select the subnet configuration to remove by click the More button, and select Delete.

The Delete VPC Subnet window displays, press the Delete key to continue with the delete process.

Wait until the process completes and the VPC Subnet notification has been successfully deleted.
