# Create VPN

Here are the steps to create a VPN:

On the Network menu select the VPN tab.

Click the **Create VPN button.**

The Create VPN page appears. Enter a Name and select the VPC Network that will be used then click Create VPN.

This name is displayed in the VPN list and is used to distinguish the VPN from other VPN connections within the project.</td></tr><tr><td>VPC</td><td>Represents the Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) associated with the VPN. The selected VPC defines the private network where the VPN connection is established.</td></tr><tr><td>Billing Type</td><td>Specifies the billing model applied to the VPN service. Available options include <strong>Trial</strong> for evaluation purposes and <strong>Pay Per Use (PPU)</strong> for usage-based billing.</td></tr></tbody></table>

Wait for the VPN creation to complete. A notification appears **"VPN VPNTW has been successfully created!"** which means the VPN was created successfully.
