# Create Data Volume

**Create Data Volume** is used to create a new Data Volume that can be utilized as storage within the Kubernetes environment.

Navigate to the **Data Volume** tab, then click **Create Data Volume** to create a new Data Volume.

The **Create Data Volume** window will appear, displaying the Data Volume configuration in YAML format. Modify the required configuration values, such as the **name** field, then click **Create** to create the Data Volume.

After the creation process is completed successfully, the system will display a notification stating **"Data volume has been successfully created"**. The newly created Data Volume will also be displayed in the **Data Volume** table.
