# delete

The cldkctl organization member delete command is used to permanently remove a member from the organization. Once executed, this action will revoke the member’s access to all assigned projects and roles. Only organization administrators have permission to perform this operation.

## Usage

```
cldkctl organization member delete [user_id] [flags]
```

## Aliases

```
delete, del, rm
```

## Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

1. Refer to the organization member list section to view all members and obtain the user ID you want to remove.
2. Run the following command in your terminal

```
cldkctl organization member delete [user_id]
```

3. Replace \[user\_id] with the actual member ID.
4. Once the process completes successfully, the member will be permanently removed from the organization.
5. The deleted user will no longer appear in the member list.
