# add

The cldkctl registry artifact label add command adds a new label to a specific artifact in the container registry. Labels help categorize and organize artifacts for easier retrieval, tracking, and management.

## Usage

```
cldkctl registry artifact label add [label] [flags]
```

## Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

1. Ensure that you are logged in. Refer to the Registry Login section.
2. Identify the Artifact ID to which you want to add a label. Refer to the Registry Artifact List section.
3. Run the following command in your terminal:

```
 cldkctl --registry [registry name] registry artifact label add [label name] --artifact [artifact id]
```

4. Replace \[registry name] with the target registry, \[label name] with the label you want to add, and \[artifact id] with the target artifact ID.
5. Once successful, the terminal displays "✓ Artifact labels added".
