# add

The cldkctl registry member add command is used to add a user as a member of a specific registry. This command grants the specified user access to the registry, allowing them to interact with its repositories and artifacts based on their assigned roles.

## Usage

```
cldkctl registry member add [user id] [flags]
```

## Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

1. Ensure that you are logged in. Refer to the Registry Login section.
2. To obtain the User ID, refer to the Organization Member List section.
3. Run the following command in your terminal:

```
cldkctl --registry <registry name> registry member add <user id>
```

4. Replace `<registry name>`  with the target registry name and `<user id>` with the user ID obtained from the organization member list.
5. Once successful, the terminal displays **"✓ Member added".**
