# sleep

The vcluster sleep command is used to pause or temporarily deactivate a virtual cluster within a project. This command puts a virtual cluster into a sleep state to conserve resources when it is not in active use

## Usage

```
cldkctl vcluster sleep [flags]
```

## Aliases

```
sleep, sl
```

## Steps

1. Run the following command in your terminal:

```
cldkctl vcluster sleep --name [vcluster name] 
```

2. Replace `[vcluster name]` with the name of the virtual cluster to be put into sleep mode. The cluster name can be found in the vcluster list section.
3. Once completed successfully, the terminal displays the message **"✓ VCluster successfully!"**
