# voucher-credit claim

The voucher-credit claim command allows you to redeem a credit voucher and apply its balance to your project. This command is used to add credit to your project's account by entering a valid voucher code provided by Cloudeka. If the voucher code is invalid or expired, an error message will appear, indicating that the claim attempt has failed.

## Usage

```bash
cldkctl voucher-credit claim [flags]
```

## Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command.

1. Ensure you have a valid credit voucher code provided by Cloudeka. This code is required to claim the credit.
2. Run the following command in your terminal.

```
cldkctl voucher-credit claim <code-voucher> -p <project-id>
```

3. If the claim is successful, the terminal will display a confirmation message “Voucher claimed”,  If the voucher is invalid or expired, you will see an error message such as "✘ Error: failed to claim voucher: claim attempt 2 of 3: voucher code is not valid".
