# Delete Backup Scheduler

This guide describes how to delete a backup scheduler for an instance. To delete a backup scheduler, follow the steps below:

* Go to the **Images** menu, then select the **Backup** tab. In the **Backup Scheduler** section, locate the backup scheduler that you want to delete. In the **Action** column, click the **Delete** button.

* A confirmation pop-up will appear to confirm the deletion of the backup scheduler. Click **Yes** to continue the process or click **Cancel** to cancel the action.

* If the process is successful, a notification will appear displaying the message "**Instance backup scheduler has been successfully deleted**".
