# Attach From Instance

The **Attach to Instance** feature is used to connect a storage disk to a VM instance so that it can be accessed and used by the instance. This allows the instance to utilize the storage for data, applications, or other operational needs. To attach a storage disk, click the **More** button in the Action column, then select **Attach to Instance**.
