# Managing VPN Connection (Connect & Disconnect)

This section is used to control the VPN tunnel connection, allowing it to be connected or disconnected. The following are the steps to connect or disconnect a VPN tunnel:

* Select one of the VPN data that has already been created, then click **More → Configuration** to open the IPSec details page.

* On the IPSec page, scroll down to the **IPSec Tunnel** section. Click the **More** button in the Action column. From the dropdown menu, click **Connect**.

* If the VPN is currently **active (Connected)**, only the **Disconnect** button will be available.
* If the VPN is not connected, the **Connect** button will appear instead.
