# reassign

Reassign a specific floating IP network in your project. This command allows you to reassign a floating IP by providing its unique identifier (port ID).

## Usage

```
cldkctl flexi network floatingip reassign [flags]
```

## Aliases

```
reassign, reas
```

## Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

#### Interactive Mode

1. Run the following command in your terminal:

```
cldkctl flexi network floatingip reassign -i true
```

2. The terminal displays a list of available **Floating IP addresses**. Select the Floating IP address that you want to reassign.

3. Select the **Resource Type** where the floating IP will be reassigned.
4. Select the resource from the **Resource** list.

5. Select the **VPC Port** associated with the selected instance.

6. Confirm the reassignment by selecting **Confirm**, or cancel the process by selecting **Cancel**.

7. Once completed successfully, the terminal displays the success message.

#### Non-Interactive Mode

1. Provide all required values using command flags.
2. Add `--auto-confirm` or `-y` to skip confirmation prompts in non-interactive mode.
3. Run the command in your terminal.
4. Once completed successfully, the terminal displays the success message.
