# Actions Tab

In the **Actions Tab**, four main buttons are available to manage Bare Metal in the Service Portal AI: **Start, Stop, Reboot, and Delete**.

## Start Action

The **Start Action** is used to power on Bare Metal. To perform this action, the status in the **Overview Tab** must be **Stop Success**. When the **Start** button is pressed, the progress updates sequentially: **Start in Progress** → **Start Success**.

## Stop Action

The **Stop Action** is used to shut down a running Bare Metal instance. To perform this action, the status in the **Overview Tab** must be **Success/Start Success**. When the **Stop** button is pressed, the progress updates sequentially: **Stop Pending** → **Stop in Progress** → **Stop Success**.

## Reboot Action

The **Reboot Action** is used to restart a Bare Metal instance, refreshing the system without the need for manual shutdown. To perform this action, the status in the **Overview Tab** must be **Success/Start Success**. When the **Reboot** button is pressed, the progress updates sequentially: **Reboot Pending** → **Reboot in Progress** → **Reboot Success**.
