# Delete Deka SLB
You can delete a Deka SLB that is no longer in use by following these steps:
* On the **Deka SLB** page, select the load balancer that you want to delete. In the **Action** column, click **More**, then click **Delete**.
* Enter the **Deka SLB Name** in the confirmation field, then click "**I understand the consequences, delete this Load Balancer"** to continue.
* Wait until the deletion process is complete. The Deka SLB will be removed from the list once the deletion is successful.
* A **SLB has been successfully deleted** notification appears after the load balancer is removed.
