# Project Type: SME

The SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) project type is intended for businesses that have a smaller size and scale of operations. The SME project type uses the Prepaid payment method, where you pay in advance before using the Deka GPU Service Portal.&#x20;

## Payment Method

In the Prepaid payment method, there are several service charge types you can choose from, including the following:

1. **Prepaid Hourly** is a service cost type that allows you to pay in advance for services based on hourly usage. To help you view the project usage details in the Deka GPU Service Portal, you can refer to the sub-section [**Custom Resource Definition**](/service-portal-ai/balance/custom-resource-definition.md)**.**
2. **Prepaid Hourly Quota Fix**  is a service charge type that is almost the same as Prepaid Hourly, but you need to set the usage quota at the beginning so that you can limit the usage of the hourly quota. To help you view the project usage details in the Deka GPU Service Portal, you can refer to the sub-section [**Custom Resource Definition**](/service-portal-ai/balance/custom-resource-definition.md)**.**
3. **Prepaid Fixed** is a service cost type where you pay a specific amount upfront for services over a set period of time. ## Access Balance Menu

The SME project page, it displays the balance amount, the option to add packages, and the payment method that will be used to pay for the Deka GPU Service Portal. For SME-type projects, you need to select the package to be used, and enter the required balance amount according to the price of the selected package. On the Deka GPU Service Portal page, select the Balance menu.
