Settings

The Settings section provides general management actions for VPNs. It consists of two options: Refresh and Stop.

Refresh

The Refresh option is used to update the VPN list and status so that the latest data is displayed.

The following are the steps to refresh the VPN status in the Service Portal AI:

  • From the VPN List Table, click More and then select Configuration on the VPN that needs to be managed.

  • In the Configuration page, select the Settings tab.

  • In the Service List, locate the VPN service (for example, OpenVPN).

  • In the Action column, click the Refresh icon.

  • The system updates the status and displays the latest information for your VPN.

Stop

The Stop option is used to deactivate the VPN service. When the service is stopped, the VPN connection becomes inactive and cannot be used until it is started again.

The following are the steps to stop a VPN in the Service Portal AI:

  • From the VPN List Table, click More and select Configuration on the VPN to be managed.

  • In the Configuration page, go to the Settings tab.

  • In the Service List, find the VPN service (for example, OpenVPN).

  • In the Action column, click the Stop icon.

  • The system stops the VPN service, and the status is updated in the list.
