# Delete labels

The **Delete** feature is used to remove label data that is no longer needed or in use. This feature helps keep label data organized, relevant, and well-managed within the registry in the **Service Portal Cloudeka**. To delete a label, follow the steps below:

Select a label from the list. Then, click **More** on the selected label and choose **Delete**.

After **Delete** is clicked, the system displays a confirmation dialog indicating that the selected label will be deleted. Click **Yes** to proceed.

After the data is deleted, the system will automatically display a notification **“Label has been successfully deleted”**, indicating that the delete operation was completed successfully.
