# Delete labels

The **Delete** feature is used to remove label data that is no longer needed or in use. This feature helps keep label data organized, relevant, and well managed within the registry. To delete a label, select one of the available label entries from the list. Next, click the **More** menu on the selected label, then choose the **Delete** option.

After the **Delete** button is clicked, the system will display a confirmation notification indicating that the data will be deleted. Click the **Yes** button to proceed.

After the data is deleted, the system will automatically display a notification **“Label has been successfully deleted”**, indicating that the delete operation was completed successfully.
