# delete

The cldkctl registry delete command deletes an existing registry from your project. This command removes the specified registry and all associated data, including container images, metadata, and related resources.

## Usage

```
cldkctl registry delete [registry ID] [flags]
```

## Aliases

```
delete, del, remove, rm
```

## Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

1. Ensure that you are logged in. Refer to the Registry Login section.
2. Run the following command in your terminal:

```
./cldkctl registry delete [registry ID]
```

3. To view the list of available registries and obtain the registry ID, refer to the Registry List section.
4. Replace `[registry ID]` with the ID of the registry you want to delete.
5. Once successful, the terminal displays **"✓ Registry deleted".**
