clusterrolebinding

The create clusterrolebinding command creates a new ClusterRoleBinding in the Kubernetes cluster. This command binds a ClusterRole to a user, group, or service account, granting them cluster-wide permissions.

Usage

cldkctl create clusterrolebinding [flags]

Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

  1. Prepare a YAML file that defines the ClusterRoleBinding configuration.

  2. Save this file in the same directory where you will run the cldkctl command.

  3. Use the --file flag to point to the YAML file.

  4. (Optional) To specify a project, add the --project flag.

  5. Run the following command in your terminal:

./cldkctl create clusterrolebinding --file [cluster role binding file name]
  1. Replace [cluster role binding file name] with the path to your YAML configuration file.

  2. Once completed successfully, a message “✓ Cluster Role Binding” created will appear in your terminal.
