service

The get service command retrieves a list of Services running in the Kubernetes cluster. This command provides details such as service names, types (ClusterIP, NodePort, LoadBalancer), exposed ports, target selectors, and associated endpoints.

Usage

cldkctl get service [flags]

Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

  1. Open your terminal in the directory where the cldkctl binary is located.

  2. Run the following command in your terminal:

./cldkctl get service
  1. The command will display a list of Kubernetes Services, including details like type, cluster IP, ports, and selectors.

Column
Description

Name

Displays the name of each Service.

Namespace

The namespace where the Service is deployed.

Type

Type of Service.

Cluster-IP

Internal cluster IP assigned to the Service.

External-IP

External IP address for external access (if applicable).

Ports

Ports exposed by the Service and their associated protocols.

Age

The duration since the Service was created.

Selector

Label selectors used to target pods associated with the Service.
