# bucket-create

The box bucket-create command creates a new bucket inside a specific object storage instance. This command allows you to specify parameters such as the bucket name and region.

## Usage

```
cldkctl box bucket-create [flags]
```

## Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

1. View your available object storage instances to find the Object Storage ID. Refer to the Box List section.
2. Run the following command in your terminal:

```
cldkctl box bucket-create <object-storage-id>
```

3. Replace \<object-storage-id> with the ID of the object storage where the new bucket will be created.
4. In the interactive interface, enter the Bucket Name.
5. Select the Region from the available options.

6. Confirm the creation by selecting y for Confirm, or cancel by choosing n for Cancel.
7. Once completed successfully, a message “✓ Bucket created successfully!” will appear in your terminal.
