# usage

The box usage command displays usage information for a specific object storage instance. This command provides details about storage usage, data size, and bucket information, including the region, S3 URL, and site type.

## Usage

```
cldkctl box usage [flags]
```

## Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

1. View your available object storage instances to find the Object Storage ID Refer to the Box List section.
2. Run the following command in your terminal:

```
cldkctl box usage <object-storage-id>
```

3. Replace `<object-storage-id>` with the ID of the object storage you want to inspect
4. Once completed successfully, the terminal displays storage usage details for the selected object storage.

| Column                | Description                                      |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| Object Count          | Number of objects stored in the object storage.  |
| Data Bytes            | Total data size stored (in bytes).               |
| Buckets               | List of bucket details under the object storage. |
| Name                  | Name of the bucket.                              |
| Object Count (Bucket) | Number of objects in the specific bucket.        |
| Data Bytes (Bucket)   | Data size stored in the bucket.                  |
| Region                | Location of the bucket.                          |
| S3 URL                | Endpoint for S3-compatible access.               |
| Site                  | Site or redundancy type.                         |
