# increase-size

The box increase-size command increases the size of a specific object storage instance. This command allows you to upgrade the storage capacity by specifying the Object Storage ID and the new size in GB.

## Usage

```
cldkctl box increase-size [flags]
```

## Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

1. View your available object storage instances to find the Object Storage ID. Refer to the Box List section.
2. Run the following command in your terminal:

```
cldkctl box increase-size -s <object-storage-id> --size <new-size>
```

3. Replace `<object-storage-id>` with the ID of the object storage and `<new-size>` with the desired storage capacity in GB.
4. Once completed successfully, a message **“✓ Successfully increased object storage size!”** will appear in your terminal.
