The cldkctl registry label create command creates a new label in the container registry. Labels are used to categorize and manage artifacts within repositories, making it easier to organize, search, and retrieve them efficiently.

Usage

cldkctl registry label create [flags]

Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

  1. Ensure that you are logged in. Refer to the Registry Login section.

  2. Specify a label name and description for the new label.

  3. You may define a color in hexadecimal format to visually categorize the label.

  4. Run the following command in your terminal:

cldkctl --registry [registry name] registry label create --name [label name] --description "[label description]"
  1. Replace [registry name] with the target registry, [label name] with the desired label name, and [label description] with the description text.

  2. Once successful, the terminal displays "✓ Registry label created".
