update

The cldkctl registry label update command updates an existing label in the container registry. This command allows you to modify label attributes such as the name, description, or color. It is useful when you want to adjust label details without deleting and recreating them.

Usage

cldkctl registry label update [label name] [flags]

Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

  1. Ensure that you are logged in. Refer to the Registry Login section.

  2. Identify the label name of the label you want to update. You can find it in the Registry Label List section.

  3. Run the following command in your terminal:

./cldkctl --registry [registry name] registry label update [label name] [flags]
  1. Replace [registry name] with the target registry, [label name] with the label you want to modify, and [flags] with one or more fields to update, such as --description, --name, or --color.

  2. Once successful, the terminal displays "✓ Registry label updated".
