# create-openvpn

The vpn create-openvpn command allows you to create an OpenVPN service with specified resources. This command provisions an OpenVPN configuration, including tunnel IP, authentication credentials, and expiration date, for an existing VPN

## Usage

```
cldkctl vpn create-openvpn [flags]
```

## Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

1. Run the following command in your terminal:

```
cldkctl vpn create-openvpn
```

2. Enter your project name in the Project Name field. Refer to project list to confirm or obtain your project name.
3. Enter your VPN instance name in the VPN Name field. Refer to vpn list to ensure the correct VPN name is selected.
4. Enter your VPN’s public IP address in the IP Public field. This information can also be found in vpn list.
5. Enter the local IP tunnel range in the Local IP Tunnel field.
6. Enter your username in the Username field. This will be the login credential used for OpenVPN access.
7. Enter your password in the Password field. Ensure that the password follows your organization’s security policy.
8. Enter the expiration date in the Expired Date (MM/DD/YYYY) field. This defines the validity period of the OpenVPN configuration.
9. Confirm the process by pressing y for Confirm or n for Cancel.

10. Once successful, the terminal displays "**✓ OpenVPN on process create in 20 seconds".**
