configmap

The delete configmap command removes a specified ConfigMap from the Kubernetes cluster. Deleting a ConfigMap removes the stored configuration data, which may affect workloads depending on it.

Usage

cldkctl delete configmap [name] [flags]

Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

  1. If you want to view the list of ConfigMaps before deleting, refer to the get configmap section.

  2. Run the following command in your terminal:

./cldkctl delete configmap [configmap-name]
  1. Replace [configmap-name] with the name of the Configmap you want to delete.

  2. Once completed successfully, a message “✓ ConfigMap deleted” will appear in your terminal.
