datavolume

The delete datavolume command removes a specified Data Volume (DV) from the Kubernetes cluster. Deleting a DV releases its claim on a Persistent Volume (PV), but the underlying storage may persist depending on the reclaim policy of the PV.

Usage

cldkctl delete datavolume [name] [flags]

Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

  1. If you want to view the list of Data Volumes before deleting, refer to the get datavolume section.

  2. Run the following command in your terminal:

./cldkctl delete datavolume [datavolume-name]
  1. Replace [datavolume-name] with the name of the Data Volume you want to delete.

  2. Once completed successfully, a message “✓ Data Volume deleted” will appear in your terminal.
