# pod

The delete pod command removes a specified pod from the Kubernetes cluster. This command terminates the pod and its associated containers. If the pod is part of a deployment, it may be recreated automatically.

## Usage

```
cldkctl delete pod [name] [flags]
```

## Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

1. If you want to view the list of Pods before deleting, refer to the get pod section.
2. Run the following command in your terminal:

```
cldkctl delete pod [pod-name]
```

3. Replace `[pod-name]` with the name of the Pod you want to delete.
4. Once completed successfully, a message **“✓ Pod deleted”** will appear in your terminal.
