daemonset

The delete daemonset command removes a specified DaemonSet from the Kubernetes cluster. This command deletes the DaemonSet and stops scheduling new pods. However, existing pods created by the DaemonSet may not be removed automatically unless explicitly specified.

Usage

cldkctl delete daemonset [name] [flags]

Steps

Follow the steps below to run and view the result of this command:

  1. If you want to view the list of DaemonSets before deleting, refer to the get daemonset section.

  2. Run the following command in your terminal:

cldkctl delete daemonset [daemonset-name]
  1. Replace [daemonset-name] with the name of the DaemonSet you want to delete.

  2. Once completed successfully, a message “✓ DaemonSet deleted” will appear in your terminal.
